  • Cooper Fountain will be reconstructed and appear just as it did. There will be some new improvements - such as better access to the plumbing for repair purposes and new lighting. The fountain will be ready to turn on in the spring.
  • The contract is in the works for Cooper Fountain landscape. The work will began following the restoration of the fountain. This will include new plants and sprinkler system.
  • The Coleman Creek Landscape is currently under design. The area is located north of Lot 2 between the sidewalk and West 32nd street. The deign is calling for new plants, new trees, new sidewalks and better lighting.
  • Fribourgh Hall Fifth floor will be the site of renovation work beginning early spring. This will include the demo of several labs and creating of some classroom space.
  • Fribourgh Hall 101 and 102 is under design. This will demo the old seating, flooring and some interior walls and replaced with new seating, a new drop down ceiling, new lighting, new floor covering, new boards and equipment. When complete these rooms will look brand new.
  • The Cyber College is renovating space in ETAS to be a Virtual Reality Room. this should be complete by the end of February.
  • Physics ramp will be the site of a major concrete work that will begin in February this will include taking out the existing ramp and landing at the top by Fribourgh Hall, They will then pour in a new ramp with new hand rails bringing the ramp into ADA compliance.
  • We are currently working with the Psychology Department on the design of the Stabler Hall 5th floor north side. This area is planned to have labs, classrooms and office space.
  • The Donald W. Reynolds building is the most visible of projects, The Reynolds building will house the Department of Business and Economic Development The Construction should be complete by mid December 2002.
