Birth announcements The Daily News is happy to publicize the birth of your baby. Births are published on a space-available basis in the Alaska section. Parents should watch the newspaper or our website (www.adn.com/alaska/) for the announcement. Announcements usually appear within 7-10 days after submission. If you believe you missed the announcement, you can obtain the date of publication at our online archives, www.adn.com/vault/ or www.adnsearch.com. Our library, which is open to the public between 2 and 3 p.m. weekdays, can also do an archive search. The librarians can be reached during public hours at (907) 257-4351 or (800) 478-4200, ext. 351. Back issues of our newspaper are available at the Daily News' Anchorage office, 1001 Northway Drive, near the corner of Bragaw Street and DeBarr Road. Those who live outside Anchorage may call our Circulation Department at (800) 478-4200, ext. 398 or (907) 257-4398, and arrange to have a back issue mailed. You can also subscribe to the Daily News by calling our circulation department or using our online form. |
