Ponson Season
 The Giants made a huge trade on Thursday to shore up the starting rotation, getting starter Sidney Ponson from the Orioles in exchange for Damian Moss and Kurt Ainsworth. Ponson was 14-6 with a 3.77 ERA in Baltimore. The trade didn't help on Thursday as the Cubs thumped the G-men.
