Tips for Searching Article Archives
-
Use AND, OR and NOT (in ALL CAPS) to combine search terms (e.g. wells AND fargo).
- You may also combine words with quotation marks: "wells fargo"
- You may truncate keywords with an asterisk: tech* will search for technology, technologies, etc.
- Possessives using an apostrophe (words ending in 's - e.g.: Bloomingdale's) should be truncated before the apostrophe: search for
"bloomingdale*" instead.
-
It is not necessary to fill out all of the search field text boxes.
-
When searching using byline, start by using last name only. Full bylines should appear in quotes. For example: "c.w. nevius"
