Here is a picture from the CottonTail CAD/CAM program. IT shows a castle in a CAD window and the path the dremel tool would have to take to cut the castle from a 2x2" block of wood. Notice that the path of the dremel is offset because the center of the tool is plotted and a cylindrical bit is assumed with a certain radius.
