    The 65-foot-tall Century Wheel is an attraction at the Thomas Carnival at Sunrise Mall. In negotiations between the Corpus Christi City Council and Landry's, council members placed 55 feet as the maximum height they may accept in any Ferris wheel to be considered for the bayfront.
    Landry's wants to put a Ferris wheel on the bayfront. Council members Noyola, Kinnison, Scott, Kelly, and Longoria agree though stipulating the height should be no taller than Joe's Crab Shack. Garrett, Chesney, and Colmenero are opposed, saying the Ferris wheel would lend a carnival atmosphere. What do you think? [Details]
