CHAP. I.
Of the Definitions.

 

1. Definition

A line is said to increase equally, when the poynt describing the same, goeth forward equall spaces, in equall times, or moments.

Let A be a poynt, from which a line is to be drawne by the motion of another poynt, which let be B.
Now in the first moment, let B moue from A to C.
