Question: How would you describe your style of music?

Answer: Automatic music for a very modern century.

Q: Since your first aspiration was to be a dancer, [You have 11 years of classical ballet under your belt] how did you know you had a singing voice since you were not trained in that medium?

A: That was the one thing I was sure I dind't have. My voice was pleasant enough, but it was barely about a whisper. My mother couldn't even get me to sing for her. I was not confident about singing. Acting yes, dancing sure, because I had so much training, but singing no.

Q: What are some of your favorite Stacey Q songs?

A: Well let's see... Q-Video Girl, SSQ-Big Electronic Beat, Anonymous, Walkman On, Better Than Heaven-Don't Break My Heart, He Doesn't Understand, Better Than Heaven, Dancing Nowhere, Hard Machine-After Hours, Another Chance, The River, Temptation, Nights Like This-Goin' Out, Too Good To Me, Nights Like This, Heartbeat, Boomerang-My Sweet Lord, Never Stop, Tara I Doubt If It Does To You (especially the new dance version we did for the remix album which is coming soon).

Q: Of all the songs you've written, which one are you most proud of?

A: There are some things that you people haven't heard. Probably the things that are the most beautiful. I wrote "Another Chance." Jon St. James used to accuse me of being "too cosmic" and "could I please simplify," because nobody will know what I am talking about. In this song that is exactly what I did.

Q:Who would you like to work with in the future?

A: Andy McCoy from "Hanoi Rocks," I would love to work with him!

Q: What are you currently working on?

A: We recently recordeda remix album. We remixed some songs from Boomerang along with the a new version of "Two of Hearts." We will let you know when we set a release date for it. I also did a scene in a new independent film called Citizens of Perpetual Indulgence." It will be out sometime in '99.

Q: What are some of your favorite albums of all time?

A: Main Offender by Keith Richards, Too Much Ain't Enough by Andy McCoy, and just about anything by David Bowie.
