At TIME, we aim to provide the highest standard of service. To help us serve you better, this guide answers some of the questions you may have.

To help us respond to your inquiries more efficiently, please quote your customer I.D. number whenever you call us and in all correspondences. You will find your customer I.D. number on your invoice, renewal notice or magazine wrapper.

1. How do I subscribe to TIME magazine?

You can order from our online order form or follow the instructions here to order by mail or fax.

If you choose to contact us by mail or fax, please provide your name, mailing address and credit card details (such as card number, card expiry date and signature).

2. How much does a subscription to TIME cost?

The cost of a subscription to TIME depends on the country where you live. Please click here for subscription rates and to subscribe to TIME.

3. Is there a special rate for students and teachers?

We are pleased to offer a special rate to students and teachers. Please fax or mail us a copy of your student card, teacher card or a letter from the school.

4. Can I send a TIME subscription to a friend as a gift?

Yes. You can order online, or simply let us know your name and address as well as the name and delivery address of the recipient and we will arrange it for you. To order online, please click here.

5. Will I get my money back if I cancel my subscription to TIME?

Absolutely. Please let us know if you are ever dissatisfied with TIME and we will issue a refund for all unmailed issues.

7. How can I order back issues of TIME?

Back issues are not part of a subscription order. However, when available, back issues can be purchased through the following address:

10. What is TIME Express?

TIME Express is the official study guide for Chinese readers of TIME magazine. It is published monthly by another company, which licenses the content from TIME. TIME Express translates and annotates selected articles from the prior month's issues of TIME. Independent sections cover all aspects of learning English, from vocabulary building to grammar and rhetoric. This unique combination of quality news, in-depth information and efficient ESL/EFL guidance makes TIME Express indispensable to Chinese readers of TIME magazine.

11. Which edition of TIME will I receive?

TIME subscriptions are available worldwide. You will receive the TIME edition for your region. There are six editions, including the domestic edition for U.S. residents:

• TIME Asia for Asian residents
• The Atlantic edition for residents of Europe, Africa and the Middle East
• TIME Canada for Canadian residents
• TIME Latin America for residents of Latin America
• TIME South Pacific for residents of Australia and New Zealand

12. What should I do if I receive an invoice and I have already paid for my subscription?

It's possible that your payment could cross in the mail with our invoice. However, if you receive an invoice more than four weeks after you have paid, it may mean we have not received your payment. In that case, please contact our Customer Service Department.

13. What if my copy of TIME arrives late?

As a subscriber, you expect each exciting issue of TIME delivered regularly. We do our best to ensure timely delivery and want to hear about any problems that arise. If you experience any undue delays, please contact our Customer Service Department and we will look into the problem immediately.

14. What should I do if I am planning to spend some time away from my normal address?

We can suspend delivery if you are planning to be away for four weeks or more. If you are residing at an alternate address for 12 weeks or more, we can transfer delivery there. Please give us at least one month's notice.

15. Where do I send a letter to the editor of TIME?
