Sitting low: I would like to make a comment about a new car-sitting phenomena. I am concerned about those drivers who sit so far back and low that the car seems driverless.

After reading Dan Thomasson's column in the Jan. 13 Sunday edition of your paper, I just thought perhaps I could add more to the fire on these outlandish prescription drug prices we are all experiencing. Perhaps someone somewhere should start a bigger fire whereby this subject would be noticed by those in charge who keep picking our pockets.

I have been listening with growing unease to the possible proposition of turning Cullen Place Middle School into the new Alternative High School. As I am given to understand, this will be done to make up for the shortfall currently buffeting CCISD.
