Kobe Bryant and the Lakers look to flex their Pacific muscle in Seattle tonight.

•   The schedule hasn't been kind to the Seattle SuperSonics so far, and it doesn't get any easier tonight when the defending champion Lakers come calling at 10 EST. An early five-game road trip through the East did a number on Seattle's record, but Gary Payton & Co. finally managed to put together back-to-back wins last weekend, and it looks as if they're on the road to recovery.
Unfortunately for Seattle, though, tonight's path leads to the 10-1 Lakers. Coming off a big win against Milwaukee on Tuesday, L.A. still has only one blemish (a loss to the Suns in Phoenix) on its early-season record, and Shaq and Kobe are showing no signs of slowing down.

•   In other action, Michael Jordan and the Wizards are in Miami to take on the Heat at 7:30, and the Kings travel to San Antonio to face the Spurs at 8:30.
Tonight's Scoreboard

David Robinson: The last time the Spurs played the Kings, the San Antonio center didn't score a single field goal. Can Vlade shut down the Admiral again?

Milwaukee Bucks: Tonight's game in Portland is the third in four nights for the Big Three and the next-to-last of a four-game Western swing. It's gut-check time.
