As part of the Soccer Hall of Fame festivities, the 1991 Women's World Cup champions were honored. The team included Mia Hamm of the Freedom, Kristine Lilly of the Breakers, San Diego's Joy Fawcett and Julie Foudy, the Bay Area's Brandi Chastain, and Carolina's Carla Overbeck.
