Jacqui Little was a member of the U.S. under-20 team pool in 1996 and 1997, but she made her biggest mark playing for Santa Clara, where she went to the final four each of her four seasons from 1996 to 1999.

College:

Little played for a Santa Clara team that advanced to the NCAA final four every season she played. She was West Coast Conference freshman of the year in 1996 and first-team all-conference each of her four seasons. She was the Broncos' most valuable offensive player in 1997 and a third-team all-American as a senior.

Personal:

Jacqueline Elise Little. Born in Heerlen, Netherlands. Majored in sociology at Santa Clara University. Father Richard is chief financial officer of his company; mother Paulette is a homemaker. With sister Skylar, who plays for the Washington Freedom, is one of four sets of identical twins playing in the WUSA. Why she is an athlete: "I like the feel of winning with teammates who would die for each other." Earliest soccer memory: Getting oranges at halftime and wearing sparkled ribbons in her hair. Pre-game ritual: Visualizing during the national anthem. If she could be any athlete for a day: Marion Jones because "no one could catch me." Three favorite foods: Mozarella sticks, ice cream, McDonald's. One thing she'd like to improve about herself: Her eating habits. What she is most passionate about: Animal rights. If she could have dinner with anyone living or dead: Oskar Schindler ("Schindler's List") to talk about his experience through the Holocaust.
