A member of the 2000 Olympic Team in Australia, she started all five games at right midfield and helped the USA to a silver medal, scoring against Nigeria in opening round play … Had a solid 2000 season, scoring 12 goals with 10 assists through the end of the Olympics … Became one of just nine U.S. players to score 100 or more career points … Her goals to assist ration (34 goals, 38 assists) is one of the best in U.S. history and she ranks 10th on the all-time U.S. goal scorer chart. 1999: A key reserve on the 1999 Women's World Cup championship team, she played in all six matches, but started just one, and in that game against North Korea led the USA to victory with a goal and two assists … Also recorded one of the biggest assists in U.S. history, driving a corner-kick for Joy Fawcett to head home for the winning goal in the Women's World Cup quarterfinal against Germany just seconds after entering the match … Played in 26 games for the USA in 1999, scoring eight goals with 14 assists and became just the 12th player in U.S. history with 20 or more career goals … 1998: A member of the USA's gold medal team at the 1998 Goodwill Games … 1996: Member of the USA's gold medal winning team at the 1996 Olympics ...
