Has been a mainstay in the net for China for over a decade … She joined the national team in 1989 and has led China to gold medals in the 1993, 1995 and 1997 Asian Women's Championship … Won silver at the Atlanta Olympics and FIFA 1999 Women's World Cup … She turned in one of her top performances ever in the 1996 Games when she shut out the United States in a first round match and then went on to allow only five goals through China's five games … MasterCard All-Star Team of the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup … Was part of China's team which won the 13 Asian Games in Bangkok, Thailand … This will not be her first time playing professionally outside China as from 1994 through 1997 she played in Japan.
