What is an Adobe Atmosphere world?
An Atmosphere world is a graphically rich, chat-enabled 3D world published on the Web. Atmosphere worlds offer real-time chat, streaming sound, realistic lighting and fog effects, JavaScript-driven interactivity, and a chance to virtually walk the Web.

How to enter:
Your entry must be in the Adobe Atmosphere (.aer) format and hosted on a publicly accessible HTML server. To sign up for the contest, please submit our online entry form. Be sure to include the link to your world in the form.
Must be a legal resident of the U.S. or Canada, except Quebec and Arizona. Must be 18 years old or older. The contest begins June 25, 2001. All entries must be received by Adobe Systems Incorporated by October 31, 2001, by 11:59 p.m. Pacific time. No purchase necessary. See official rules for details.
British and Nordic contests:
There are separate contests open to residents of the United Kingdom, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland. British and Nordic contests will begin June 29, 2001 Pacific time.
Judging
Your entry will be judged by an independent panel of judges who are experts in the development of immersive media. They will be looking for the Most Creative and Immersive Worlds, which will be judged on concept and execution. For more information, please see the official rules.
Winners will be notified November 16, 2001. For a complete list of winners, please e-mail worlds@adobe.com after November 16, 2001.
