The Code Project is about free source code and tutorials. We are dedicated to helping those IT professionals who have freely donated their own time and resources to helping others.

Advertising on the Code Project is available in 3 forms

• Banner ads (468 x 60). Top and bottom of every page.
• Buttons (120 x 60). Two per page on the homepage, articles, lounge and tables of contents.
• Skyscraper (120 x 600)
• Newsletter sponsorship. One newsletter per week.

There are 10 banner slots available each month for the top and bottom banner spaces, meaning each slot receives 10% of all ad impressions. There are only two button slots available and the same two buttons will be shown on every page. The newsletter is sent out once a week with the sponsor's ad paragraph appearing under the main site news brief.

Banners

The large banner ads appear at the top and bottom of all pages including the home page, articles, table of contents pages, and discussion boards. Banner ads on the top of the page are viewable as soon as the page is loaded. Banners at bottom of the page are placed directly above the discussion boards.

Buttons

The button images appear on the homepage, article pages, and the lounge.

Skyscrapers

Skyscrapers appear on the sides of articles, the tables of contents and the lounge. The skyscrapers unobtrusively slide back into view (within the bounds of their sidebar) whenever the reader scrolls the page.

• All ads will have the run of the entire site except for the homepage which will contain the buttons only .
• Banner ads should be JPEG or GIF (animated/static) and be less than 25Kb. Button images should be static images, less than 10K in size.
• You will need to provide a URL to send visitors to and the banner or button of the specified size (see above).
• You will be provided with a username and password that will allow you to logon to the CodeProject's ad scripts to check your ad performance (number of impressions and click-throughs per day/week/month).
• Ad images or links to sites providing material deemed inappropriate by our staff will not be accepted.
