Position Position Description
System Architect I

The System Architect I is responsible for the overall technical design of a client system, including client platform selection, requirements analysis, software design, software implementation, testing and maintenance planning. Investigates and clarifies client needs, articulates requirements in project documentation and designs solutions. Responsible for the technical approach for the project and for defining the development plan, task breakdown, hours budget and schedule for technical activities.

Requires BS in Computer Science or related field and a minimum of 10 years experience, or Masters Degree with 5 years related experience, proficiency in at least two high level languages (e.g. C, C++, Visual Basic, SQL), and a demonstrated ability to design and implement efficient software.

Senior Web Application Developer The Senior Web Application Developer is responsible for architecting, designing, and overseeing the development of applications using the latest technology for incorporating map information into custom Web applications. Provides technical direction for the development of applications, evaluates and selects the appropriate development platform, provides guidance to assigned programmers, and codes key areas of the application. Requires a highly motivated and experienced technical lead with the ability to master new technology quickly and effectively. Requires experience in VB development and Web server integration.
Experience in C++, Java, ASP, and Web based GIS components (MapObjects, MapGuide, GeoMedia) a plus. This is a great opportunity to enhance your Web development skills in a leadership position for a small and growing company. 

Programmer II

Performs software development in one or more high level languages in accordance with project design specifications and company development standards. Participates in software requirements analysis with clients. Participates in software design activities. Performs detailed software design and coding. Develops technical and user documentation for software. Designs and performs software test procedures. Provides user training. Assists in the development and presentation of demonstrations for clients and prospects.

Requires BS in Computer Science with a minimum of two years related experience (Masters Degree may substitute for some experience), proficiency in at least two high level languages (e.g. C, C++, Visual Basic, SQL), a demonstrated ability to design and implement efficient software and familiarity with Windows environment.
