Carpentry
Listed as the items appear in the carpentry menu, by category.
The 'Return' number indicates the Ratio of materials (required to produce the item) to selling-price of the particular item. In other words, the investment return, or profit-potential, of the manufactured item. All prices listed are approximates--they are subject to change due to economic conditions, etc. When possible, the prices listed assume that there are 10 of the particular item in stock. For most items it is more profitable to just sell the wood for 1gp a piece. For a more profitable use of wood see the Bowcraft section.
The 'Dyeable' column indicates whether an item can be dyed with a furniture dye tub or not.
Skill listed is the minimum skill needed and does not indicate a 100% chance of success.

Armoire, Cherry (regular/lockable*) 35 Wood 10 0.28 yes 84.2
* Use Carpentry tools to make box/chest-- the game will automatically check to see if you have a sufficient Tinkering Ability to create the box/chest as being lockable. If an armoire is made as lockable then sometimes the key is 'hidden' inside the armoire, the only way to get the key out is by chopping up the armoire, which defeats the purpose of creating it in the first place... The higher the carpentry skill needed to create an item the harder it is to create a lockable version.

- Make sure you have the required supplies in your backpack if you start to create a house add-on.
- When the item is created, you get a deed which can be used or transferred to someone else.
- To place the item, you need to use the deed inside the house and be the owner of the house. Using the deed will give you a ghosted image of the item to place (just like when you place a house). The item will be created on the tile that you click on, not where the ghosted image seems to be. To be sure the add-on gets placed correctly you can try blocking off all surrounding tiles with chests and leave a space open where the add-on has to be placed. Or put the deed on the floor on the spot where you want the add-on to be, double-click the deed and then target it.
- These items are not allowed to be placed adjacent to doors.
- Items that are placed cannot be moved. All items may be chopped with an axe by the owner of the house, that will destroy all pieces of the object.
