American Cybernetics Inc.
http://www.multiedit.com

Based in Tempe, Arizona, American Cybernetics,Inc. is a privately-held firm founded in 1987 by Todd M. Johnson, the original developer of ACI's flagship product,Multi-Edit. Conceived at a time when virtually the only source editor available was Brief, Multi-Edit provided a tool that could be reconfigured "on-the fly", allowing each developer to easily manipulate the editor to work the way he/she works. Multi-Edit provided the flexibility that had been much needed, but lacking in the industy.

Multi-Edit began as a DOS product and has since moved to both 16 and 32-bit Windows. Multi-Edit maintains a strong following in the Delphi C++ and xBase markets behind the strength of its integration with Borland's Delphi and C++ Builder development environments. With the advent of WebLair, Multi-Edit's built-in Internet editing technology, the product became a complete website management environment.

ACI, Inc. distributes it products, including Multi-Edit, to the United States and Canada, both directly and through domestic resellers, and Soft/Export, Inc. manages all international sales. ACI, Inc. has experienced a pattern of steady growth since its founding and its products are consistently top performers in their respective markets. The company's user base is conservatively estimated to be at 150,000 worldwide.

We here at American Cybernetics remain committed to providing the professional programmer with reliable, high-quality development tools that can be tailored to fit the evolving needs of programmers worldwide. Multi-Edit includes support for most languages and compilers on the market, and if we don't currently have the basic support for your compiler, we will write it for you, Just let us know.
