Received the follow messages: 1) Works fine, small graphical glitches (probably caused by DX) but nothing major. 2) Works fine but crashes to desktop after a while 3) Works wonderful in my computer. 4) The first game runs perfect but while loading the second game it crashes to desktop. I run with TNT2 and latest drivers... 5) Installing onto a FAT32 disk seems to resolve the one game crash problem. Customisation doesn't work in Win2000 , only in win9x. Install in win 9x (on dual boot) then install in win2k over the same directory...gives best stability and customisation.

Download the patch 1.08 from Westwood´s web site and install it. 2) I can not get my red alert to work, i copied the install directory to a folder on my harddisc, the I installed the patch. I've had a Lifetec LT9848 for a while, but I have recently upgraded to Windows 2000, and I had noticed that Medion had no drivers for this scanner for Windows 2000 on their site. I found therefore, with help of the SANE project (Scanner Access Now Easy, a Linux scanning project) that the LT9848 is really only a relabled Mustek 600 III EP. I tried the Mustek drivers, and now my scanner works under Windows 2000, with the exception of it being a bit slower than before. The parallell port mode is set to EPP in the BIOS, so that should not be a problem. Had problem with the system not booting. It turn out to be a problem with VIA AGP Chipset drivers. Got it fixed with the help of this Tom's Hardware article that explain the problem and give a fixed VIAAGP.SYS file given by Asus [http://www6.tomshardware.com/mainboard/00q2/000508/]. Received the follow messages: 1) Adaptec CD Creator 4.02 DOES work flawlessly in Win2000, but I had trouble. I have the 4.01 CD, installed it and then the patch, and the program would crash. I traced this down to an old version of msvcrt.dll (and maybe comctl32.dll) that was placed in the system32 folder from the Adaptec CD. Replacing it using the sfc command at the command prompt (or by using the Windows 2000 Recovery Console) fixed the problem. Also, the Mitsumi 4804-TE CDRW drive seems to need the 2.6C firmware patch (ftp://ftp.mitsumi.com/pub/drivers/fw26c_04w.exe for the patch to run in Windows, ftp://ftp.mitsumi.com/pub/drivers/fw26c_04.exe for the DOS patch) to work with Adaptec EasyCD Creator in Windows 2000. 2) Works on 4416 Yamaha ide if cdrw is on Master if not it will not work. It tooked me about 2 weeks to find the problem. 3) Crashes constantly, even after running the "sfc" and patching right up to date this program crashes before even attempting to write a cd.
