Bungie Telecom Rumors
Always in search of the truth, the BungieRumors staff just had to download the file and take a look for ourselves. This is what we found:
On first glance, it did indeed look like a lightning bolt, but we weren't convinced, and with the help of our contacts in the telecommunications industry, we were able to discover that it is in fact the British Telecom logo as can be seen below and at their web page
But the question remains, 'Why is this logo in Bungies updates directory?' It's known that BT and AT&T have recently announced a $10 billion global venture to serve the complete communication needs of multi-national companies and the international calling needs of individuals and businesses around the world. Based on the evidence presented above, it's our belief that Bungie.net will provide the backbone for this new venture which will be run out of Bungies seventh floor Chicago office. Recent rumors of Bungie.net admins striking for a pay rises seems to further confirm the story. We'd welcome any further information. BungieRumors Haxored
We're still attempting to track down the exact chain of events leading to this serious breech of security. Some sources report that there is an industry plot to discredit our good name. Others offer the explanation that Hotmail sucks. We'll let our loyal readers be the judge.

Rumors is written and designed on Bungie's Power Macintosh computers whilst they're sleeping.
BungieRumors purpose in life is to poke some fun at Bungie Software until such time as they release the long promised Marathon 2 patcher. In the process, we thought we'd take a little dig at MacOSRumors too because..., well, you know why. No offence intended folks. Please don't sue :-)
