Scuba Tracker Turns Heads at Comdex

Visitors to Comdex last fall were treated to new levels of immersion from Philips thanks to this revolutionary tracker which simply attaches to the Scuba, replacing the existing rubber strap. The technology demonstrator met with an enthusiastic response from showgoers who played Jedi Knight Dark Forces 2, and were able to look around through 360 degrees in real time and play the game like they'd never played before.

The device just plugs into the PC mouse port and was developed to work with all 3D, first person perspective adventure games which allow you to look around in real time using a mouse like Jedi Knight - DF2, Turok, Quake II, MechWarrior: Mercenaries etc..
